Wait, What is "Diamond" Painting Exactly ?
Diamond Painting is a DIY Craft Style that's a Cross between the good old Paint By Numbers and Cross Stitch.
With Diamond Painting, you apply thousands of Shiny Tiny resin "diamonds" Beads to a coded adhesive canvas to create a Sparkling Mosaic Art.
Diamond Painting was first introduced in 2017. Since then, it has been a loved and praised by milions of Arts and Crafts lovers around the world for the Joy and Stress-relieving Benefits of the Arts.
HOW TO START YOUR FIRST DIAMOND PAINTING
STEP-BY-STEP DIAMOND PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: UNBOX AND SORT ALL ITEMS FROM THE PACKAGE.
Your diamond painting kit will include a canvas, diamond applicator (pen) and/or Tweezer, wax and tray. Remove all of the items from the package.
STEP 2: LAY THE CANVAS OUT ON A CLEAN FLAT SURFACE OR WORKSTATION.
Lay out the canvas on a clean, flat surface.
You will notice that printed directly on the canvas is a chart of all Needed Diamond Colors and their Corresponding Symbols and Numeric Code.
You will need to find the Diamond Bags that have a match Numberic Code and place the Diamond Beads onto the Canvas Accordingly.
STEP 3: PEEL BACK A SMALL SECTION OF THE ADHESIVE COVER AND PICK A COLOR TO START OR CONTINUE WITH
Peel back a small section of the Adhesive Cover to work on at a time.
It's best and easiest to determine how much time and work you will be able to do each time and only remove an appropriate area of the Adhesive Cover on the Canvas, since it might be important to keep the Adhesive Cover to protect the Canvas.
Choose a single color diamond to get started with. Pour a small amount of diamonds into the Organizing Tray.
If you hold it at a slight angle and gently shake it back and forth the diamonds will settle right side up so they are facing the correct way to pick them up with the applicator.
STEP 4: APPLY WAX TO THE TIP OF YOUR DIAMOND PEN.
Peel back the plastic film on the pink wax pads and apply a small amount of wax to the tip of your Diamond Pen. The wax acts almost like a Diamond magnet and helps you pick up Diamond Beads easier.
STEP 5: PLACE EACH DIAMOND IN ITS CORRESPONDING SQUARE ON THE CANVAS
Each Color corresponds to a specific symbol or character on the canvas.
Check the legend on the side of the canvas to figure out which symbol corresponds to each color.
You can then pick up the diamonds as they will easily stick to the tip of the applicator. Once picked up, carefully press the diamond onto its corresponding symbol on the canvas.
You should work with One color at a time and only move on to the Next Color once you have finished or ran out of the Previous one.
Always remember to add a little bit more wax if the pen seems like it doesn't pick up the diamonds anymore.
STEP 6: REPEAT THE PROCESS UNTIL YOU HAVE A SPARKLING MASTERPIECE!
Work your way across the canvas Section by Section until you have a gorgeous sparkling mosaic Diamond Painting!.
To increase the longevity of your Diamond Painting, consider sealing it before Putting it on Display!.
A recommended final touch to completing a good diamond painting is to put it in a suitable frame to hang up in your home. The experience is fulfilling and you will be able to showcase your work!
Diamond Paintings were meant to be enjoyed from afar - take a step back and marvel at the beauty.
